Quarter to Two Before Jesus Christ

Rahatlocum is a North African colony of ancient Rome, where Julius Caesar (Michel Serrault) has arrived to spend an expensive holiday. Among the locals, a garage mechanic named Ben-Hur Marcel (Coluche) becomes the leader of a growing revolt. Jean Yanne plays Paulus himself, and his Ben-Hur and Caesar are opposed first by anachronism, then by an uneasy kinship between two men who both wish they were somewhere else.
