Queen & Slim

“Two souls on the run, bound by love and fueled by freedom.”

A first date in Ohio that neither Slim (Daniel Kaluuya) nor Queen (Jodie Turner-Smith) expected to remember ends with a traffic stop that goes wrong in a matter of seconds. An officer is dead, and the two strangers are running, with a long drive ahead and nowhere safe to stop. Melina Matsoukas keeps them on the road, Slim at the wheel, Queen beside him, the car carrying everything they have.
