Queen Bees

“A comedy about the young at heart.”

Helen Wilson (Ellen Burstyn), a widow who likes her independence, moves into the Pine Grove Senior Community and finds the dining hall is run like a high school cafeteria. There are cliques to dodge and suitors who keep turning up at her table, among them the newcomer Dan (James Caan). Michael Lembeck lets Helen keep her distance a while, though she came to Pine Grove believing she needed nothing, and the friends she meets there suggest otherwise.
