Queen of Chess
In 1980s Hungary, a girl named Judit Polgár (Judit Polgar) grows up in a household where chess is everything. She sets her sights on world champion Garry Kasparov (Garry Kasparov), a fifteen-year rivalry that will test her skill and her place in a sport built to exclude her. Rory Kennedy traces Judit's rise through family footage and interviews, building the world around the board without ever leaving the game itself.
