Queer
“I'm not Queer, I'm disembodied.”
Nobody in the bars of 1950s Mexico City can say what William Lee (Daniel Craig) does all day, only that he drinks and keeps to the edges of the small American crowd. Then Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), a young student, walks into town, and Lee, in his late forties, starts to want a connection with someone. Luca Guadagnino follows him through the streets and the bars, and the film settles on Lee in his own company, a drink in hand.
