Quiet Flows the Don

“The epic film based on Mikhail Sholokhov's classic novel in COLOR”

Grigori Melekhov (Pyotr Glebov), a young Don Cossack, wants only what his people have always wanted: land, a household, and a life that follows the old order. Sergei Gerasimov builds the three-part epic around his family, with Panteley Prokofyevich (Danylo Ilchenko) and Ilyinichna (Anastasiya Filippova) as his parents. As the First World War and the revolution reach the Don, the bonds between these people begin to strain.
