Quo Vadis, Aida?

In July 1995, Srebrenica falls to the Serbian army, and thousands of townspeople crowd into the UN camp for shelter. Aida Selmanagić (Jasna Đuričić), a translator for the UN, sits in on the negotiations and has to put every word into her own language. Jasmila Žbanić follows her as she works to get her husband and two sons inside the gates, and the film shows how a bureaucracy can fail the people it was sent to protect.
