“He who sheds others' blood will not return... NOT EVEN HIS SOUL...”

On 7 January 1972, the South Korean base at Nha-Trang in Vietnam picks up a radio transmission from a platoon that went missing and was presumed dead. Lieutenant Choi Tae-in (Kam Woo-sung) leads a squad to the location, with Sergeant Jin Chang-rok (Son Byung-ho) among the men. Kong Su-chang sends soldiers to a war that has already ended for some of them, and the film treats fear as a weight each man carries in with him.
