“Follow your heart, follow the fence”

In 1931, three Aboriginal girls are taken from their families and sent to the Moore River Native Settlement to be trained as domestic staff. Molly Craig (Everlyn Sampi) leads her sister Daisy (Tianna Sansbury) and cousin Gracie (Laura Monaghan) out of the settlement and onto the Outback trek home. Phillip Noyce films the walk across the bleached country and keeps the camera at the girls' level.
