A car hits Rose (Laura Vandervoort) and leaves her face badly damaged, and she agrees to an experimental stem cell treatment from Dr. William Burroughs (Ted Atherton). Rose works in women's fashion, hoping to design clothes of her own, and she leaves the clinic stronger and prettier than before, though the treatment has a side effect. Jen and Sylvia Soska, remaking Cronenberg's 1977 film, set the horror in how much a person will let be done to her body to be seen.
