Rabid Dogs

“Lock the doors, rollup the windows, and buckle up… for the ride of your life!”

After a payroll robbery goes wrong, Bisturi (Don Backy) and his two partners need a clean way out of Rome, and a getaway car they can take by force. They seize a young woman, a middle-aged man named Riccardo (Riccardo Cucciolla) and a sick child, and order the man to drive. Mario Bava keeps nearly all of it inside the one car, in close to real time, shot in 1974 but not widely released until 1998.
