Race the Sun

“A dream can make all the difference under the sun.”

At a high school in Hawaii, the misfit students in Miss Sandra Beecher's (Halle Berry) new class sit through a science fair and come away with an idea: build a solar car of their own. Charles T. Kanganis follows them toward the 1990 World Solar Challenge in Australia, loosely drawn from a true story. Daniel Webster (Casey Affleck) and Cindy Johnson (Eliza Dushku) start as strangers to each other and end up depending on one another.
