Race with the Devil

(1975)Directed by Jack Starrett88 min · PGAction, Horror, Thriller
“If you're going to race with the devil, you've got to be as fast as Hell!”

Roger (Peter Fonda) and Frank (Warren Oates) take their wives on a holiday in a new R.V., heading from Texas toward Colorado. One night, camped in rural Texas, they watch from a distance as a group of hooded figures kills a person during a ritual, and the group sees them watching. Jack Starrett shoots the whole chase on dusty back roads in the flat, grainy light of a 70s drive-in picture.
