Rachel Getting Married

“The perfect weekend for a wedding… but the storm is coming.”

Kym Buchman (Anne Hathaway) wants to get through one weekend as an ordinary guest. She has been in and out of rehab for ten years, and she is let out to attend the wedding of her sister Rachel (Rosemarie DeWitt) at the family home. Jonathan Demme follows the rehearsals, toasts and dinners with a handheld camera, and Kym keeps drifting toward the old arguments, her father Paul (Bill Irwin) hovering nearby, trying to keep her steady.
