Rad

“A hometown kid on his BMX against the best in the world. At Helltrack... the heat is on.”

Cru (Bill Allen) is a BMX rider in a small town who wants one thing, a shot at the Helltrack race, and the same weekend brings the SATs that could get him into college. He lives with his mother (Talia Shire) and his sister, and the pull between the two dates settles on him. Hal Needham, the stuntman turned director, builds the story around that choice: a kid deciding whether to do the sensible thing or the one he loves.
