Radiance

Misako Ozaki (Ayame Misaki) writes audio descriptions that explain films to blind viewers, and she brings her draft to a screening panel, where she meets Masaya Nakamori (Masatoshi Nagase). He is a photographer whose eyesight is failing, and he tells her plainly where her words fall short. She keeps going back to him, and the two begin to talk. Kawase films their meetings in close, unsteady detail, and the picture keeps drifting out of focus along with his sight.
