Someone is killing off the people behind a brand-new radio network, and the broadcast on opening night cannot stop. Writer Roger Henderson (Brian Benben) is trying to patch things up with his wife Penny (Mary Stuart Masterson) while the station floods with suspects and bodies. Mel Smith keeps the cast running through 1939, and the studio holds only microphones, scripts and a live signal that never goes quiet.
