Rags

Charlie Prince (Max Schneider), an orphan living with an unloving stepfather and two spoiled stepbrothers, writes songs and sings them with nobody listening. Across town, Kadee Worth (Keke Palmer), the pop star daughter of music mogul Reginald Worth (Isaiah Mustafa), is tired of singing other people's songs and wearing clothes picked for her. Bille Woodruff pairs them in a Nickelodeon musical, and each one hears in the other the voice they have been trying to find.
