Rainbow: A Private Affair

One thing Milton (Luca Marinelli) can't let go of is a sentence he overhears: Fulvia (Valentina Bellè), the woman he writes to from the Resistance, may have loved his friend Giorgio (Lorenzo Richelmy) all along. He sets out across the misty hills of the Langhe to find him, only to learn the Fascists have just taken Giorgio. The Taviani brothers, in their last film made together, shoot the Piedmont countryside with a soft, unhurried eye.
