Raising Arizona

“Their lawless years are behind them. Their child-rearing years lay ahead...”

H.I. McDunnough (Nicolas Cage), a convenience-store robber who keeps getting caught, marries the police officer who takes his mug shots, Ed (Holly Hunter). When they learn they can't have a child, they drive to the home of Nathan Arizona, Sr. (Trey Wilson), a furniture magnate whose wife has just given birth to quintuplets, and carry one of the babies out. Joel Coen's film then follows H.I., the baby in his arms, back to the trailer he shares with Ed.
