Raising Cain
“Demented. Deranged. Deceptive. De Palma.”
A series of murders and kidnappings is tearing through a quiet family's life, and the man at its center is Carter Nix (John Lithgow), a child psychologist everyone takes for a devoted husband and father. Brian De Palma lets Carter's violent brother Cain and his returning father crowd in around him while his wife Jenny (Lolita Davidovich) starts seeing an old lover again. Every choice she makes brings her closer to a husband who is coming apart.
