Raising Victor Vargas

Victor Vargas (Victor Rasuk) is a Lower East Side teenager who has set his sights on Judy (Judy Marte), a girl who weighs every boy before she lets him close. First he has to get past home, where a strict grandmother (Altagracia Guzman), a bratty sister and a younger brother who copies his every move share one cramped apartment. Peter Sollett's film cares about how people who love each other still manage to wear each other down.
