Rambo III

“The first was for himself. The second was for his country. This time is for his friend.”

John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) has left the fighting behind and settled into a monastery, where he has finally found some peace. His old mentor Colonel Trautman (Richard Crenna) turns up asking for help on a secret mission into Afghanistan, and Rambo says no. Peter MacDonald sets the film in motion when Trautman is captured in the middle of the Soviet-Afghan War, which leaves Rambo the only man who can still go in after him.
