Rams

“This winter get sheepish.”

When a lethal disease turns up in Kiddi's flock, the authorities order every sheep in an Icelandic valley to be culled. Brothers Gummi (Sigurður Sigurjónsson) and Kiddi (Theodór Júlíusson) live on neighboring farms, raise prize-winning rams, and have not spoken in forty years. Grímur Hákonarson leaves them each to fight the order alone, Kiddi with his rifle and Gummi with his wits, two stubborn men in a valley where the sheep go on grazing.
