“Death imitates art”

Todd Walkley (Jesse Williams) wrote a comic about a serial killer called Slasherman, and now he's on a road trip with his wife Kathy (Jordana Brewster) and his collaborator Ezra (Jay Baruchel). Real murders start turning up along their route, and each one copies a page from the book. Baruchel directs it as a slasher, and he lets the violence arrive in plain view.
