Rang De Basanti

“A Generation Awakens.”

DJ (Aamir Khan) should have left Delhi University years ago, but he and his friends still hang around the campus, drifting through days with nothing to do. Then a British filmmaker arrives and casts them as freedom fighters in a film about India's struggle against British rule. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra holds the group together as an ensemble, Karan (Siddharth) and Sukhi (Sharman Joshi) among them, the friends sitting close in the old campus they can't leave.
