Rapa Nui

On Easter Island, two tribes are bound by an old rivalry, and the stone Maoi statues are raised to settle it. Noro (Jason Scott Lee), a young man of the lower caste, is drawn into a contest to erect a giant statue in record time, while Make (Esai Morales) waits for his turn at the sooty tern's egg race and the year of rule it brings. Kevin Reynolds sets the two men against each other, with Ramana (Sandrine Holt) standing between them.
