Rapture

José Sirgado (Eusebio Poncela) makes cheap horror films and wants, more than anything, to feel the thrill cinema once gave him instead of the numbness of heroin. Then a package of reels arrives from Pedro (Will More), a stranger as obsessed with cinema as he is. His girlfriend Ana (Cecilia Roth) watches him drift further from her. Iván Zulueta shoots Madrid at night in a smeared, overexposed light that makes the whole city feel like a film left running too long.
