Raw

“What are you hungry for?”

At a veterinary school where first-years are hazed all week, Justine (Garance Marillier) arrives as a strict vegetarian, from a family of vets who eat no meat. Under pressure to belong, she swallows a raw rabbit kidney, and her older sister Alexia (Ella Rumpf) is there to see it. Julia Ducournau follows what that taste starts in Justine, a hunger she can neither explain nor shake.
