Raw Deal

“Bullets! Women! -- Can't Hold a Man Like That!”

Joe Sullivan (Dennis O'Keefe) goes over the prison wall in a breakout arranged by Rick Coyle (Raymond Burr), the mobster he took the rap for and who still owes him $50,000. Rick expects the escape to end with Joe shot down on the run, but Pat Cameron (Claire Trevor) and caseworker Ann Martin (Marsha Hunt) each pull Joe in a different direction. Anthony Mann's film leaves Joe two women to answer to and a single night to find his money.
