Luciano (Aniello Arena) sells fish in Naples and wants one thing more than a better stall: to be a contestant on Grande Fratello, the Italian Big Brother. His wife Maria (Loredana Simioli) and his extended family watch him start to live as if the cameras were already on him. Matteo Garrone fills the crowded, loud household with warm light, then keeps the camera close on Luciano's face.
