“Who's watching who?”

Jason Kemp (Christopher Reeve) is an architect left paralyzed and living in a high-tech apartment, where assistive equipment handles most of what his body no longer can. Jeff Bleckner's 1998 update has him spend the long hours watching the neighbors across the way, until one night he thinks he sees a murder. Detective Moore (Robert Forster) wants proof, and Jason, who can't leave his chair, has no way to get it except by looking harder.
