“He must fight for his future.”

Kamal (Aboubakr Bensaïhi) wants to change his life, so he leaves Belgium to help the victims of the war in Syria. Once he arrives, he is forced into a militia and left stranded in Raqqa. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah follow the family he left behind, where his younger brother Nassim (Amir El Arbi) is drawn toward recruiters who promise to bring Kamal home, and their mother Leila (Lubna Azabal) is all she has left to hold him with.
