“Their laws. His rules.”

Terry Richmond (Aaron Pierre), a former Marine, rides into a small town with one goal: the cash to post his cousin's bail. Local police led by Chief Sandy Burnne (Don Johnson) take the money through civil forfeiture, and Terry has days to get it back. Jeremy Saulnier builds the film on how easily a badge can take what a man has earned.
