Recep Ivedik 2

“A folk hero”

Recep İvedik (Şahan Gökbakar) wants to give his sick grandmother, Nene (Gülşen Özbakan), what she has asked for: a steady job and a wife. He has no idea how to get either, and he goes at both the only way he knows, loudly and with his whole body. Togan Gökbakar, who is Şahan's brother, builds the comedy around Recep's blunt, sprawling charm, while Nene's health leaves less time to get it right.
