Recess: All Growed Down

“Even kindergartners deserve a little respect.”

T.J. Detweiler (Myles Jeffrey) is a fourth grader at Third Street School who runs recess alongside his five friends, with Spinelli (Pamela Adlon) at his side. One day the school's kindergartners kidnap the whole gang, desperate for help against the new kid in their class, who has been bullying them. Howy Parkins and Brenda Piluso keep the schoolyard's rules of loyalty and fairness at the center, treating a playground quarrel as a matter that deserves fixing.
