Recount

“The future of the nation was hanging by a... chad.”

On election night in 2000, the presidency comes down to a few hundred votes in Florida, and no one can say who won. Ron Klain (Kevin Spacey) and Ben Ginsberg (Bob Balaban) are sent to opposite sides of a recount that gives America a new phrase, "hanging chad." Jay Roach stays close to the lawyers and campaign staff, with Laura Dern's Katherine Harris among them, as the ballots are held up to the light.
