Red Ghost

“The snow will be painted red with Nazi blood.”

The soldier known only as the "Red Ghost" (Aleksei Shevchenkov) fights alone, a Soviet fighter whose name has turned into a story the German troops are afraid to repeat. On December 30, 1941, near Vyazma, he and a small detachment led by "Ded" (Vladimir Gostyukhin) find themselves facing an elite Wehrmacht unit. Andrey Bogatyrev stages the standoff as a close, anxious fight, with every man in the detachment tied to the one holding the line.
