Lillian Andrews (Jean Harlow) is a secretary at the Legendre Company with red hair, tight dresses, and a plan to climb out of her small life. Her boss, William Legendre Jr. (Chester Morris), is married to Irene (Leila Hyams), and Lil goes after him anyway, one carefully chosen visit at a time. Jack Conway keeps her cheerful and shameless, and she wants a place at the best tables and will take it from whoever holds it.
