Red Heat

(1988)Directed by Walter Hill104 min · RAction, Crime
“Moscow's toughest detective. Chicago's craziest cop. There's only one thing worse than making them mad. Making them partners.”

Ivan Danko (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a Soviet policeman, flies to Chicago after Viktor Rostavili (Ed O'Ross), a Georgian drug lord, kills his partner and runs. The local police pair him with Art Ridzik (Jim Belushi), a cocky detective who talks more than Danko wants to hear. Walter Hill sends the two after Rostavili, and every day they spend on the case is another day he stays free.
