Red Line 7000

“Here Comes the Speed Breed!”

Mike (James Caan) is a young stock-car driver who wants to make a name for himself on the professional circuit. Howard Hawks follows him and the women around his racing team, including Julie (Laura Devon), as the romances and rivalries pile up between races. The title is the mark on a tachometer set at 7000 RPM, past which an engine fails, and every driver here pushes toward it.
