Red Shoe Diaries

“Trapped by a burning secret. Torn by a blazing desire.”

A diary turns up after Jake Winters's (David Duchovny) fiancée dies, and the woman in its pages is someone he never met. Zalman King follows him as he places an ad asking other women to send in their own diaries, hoping their stories will explain hers. Jake is chasing a version of her he can only learn from strangers, and the longer he reads, the less of the person he thought he loved he has left to hold.
