Red Soil

Nour Hamadi (Zita Hanrot) has just started as the nurse at a chemical factory when she notices that management and her father, Slimane (Sami Bouajila), the staff representative, have worked out their own arrangements. Farid Bentoumi follows her as the small lies pile up: discharges that are denied, illnesses left unrecorded, accidents kept off the books. It is a story about what a family owes the people it loves, and what it owes the truth.
