Red Sparrow

“Seduce. Deceive. Repeat.”

Dominika Egorova (Jennifer Lawrence) is a prima ballerina in Russia whose career ends the night she is injured, taking her income and her future with it. She enters Sparrow School, a state program that trains young recruits to use their bodies and minds as weapons, and Francis Lawrence follows her through the training. Sent to win the trust of CIA officer Nate Nash (Joel Edgerton), she finds both sides treat a person as a tool to be spent.
