Red Sun

(1971)Directed by Terence Young114 min · PGWestern
“The greatest fighting machine the West has ever known.”

In 1870, a train carries Japan's ambassador toward Washington with a ceremonial sword meant for the American President. Two robbers ride the same train, Link (Charles Bronson) and Gauche (Alain Delon), and they have their own plans for it. Terence Young sends the samurai Kuroda Jubei (Toshirō Mifune) and the outlaw Link out across the Spanish plains together, a pair with no common language and no reason to trust each other.
