Reflection in a Dead Diamond

John Diman (Fabio Testi) is a retired spy in his seventies, living in a luxury hotel on the Côte d'Azur, still carrying himself like a man who dresses for dinner. When the woman in the room next door disappears, he starts to see the enemies and lovers of his old life again, played in his memory by a younger John (Yannick Renier). Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani build the film from 1960s Eurospy pictures, and John cannot tell his past from the movie it has become.
