“Save the universe from yourselves or you're fired.”

Mordecai (J.G. Quintel) and Rigby (William Salyers) are two park groundskeepers who spend more energy dodging work than doing it. Then a high school lab experiment goes wrong, and the pair have to go back in time to face a vengeful volleyball coach who wants to erase all time. Quintel, who created the series and directs here, keeps the cartoon's loose, goofy rhythm at feature length, with Skips (Mark Hamill) along for it.
