Relative Strangers

“You can't pick your parents.”

Richard Clayton (Ron Livingston), a buttoned-up professional, has gone his whole life without knowing who his birth parents are. Then he meets them: Frank (Danny DeVito) and Agnes Menure (Kathy Bates), a working-class couple with nothing in common with the life he has built. Greg Glienna sets the three of them in the same room and lets the awkward lunch begin, a son and two strangers who share his blood and still have to figure out how to talk to each other.
