Remember the Titans

“History is written by the winners.”

In 1971, Bill Yoast (Will Patton) loses the head coaching job at T. C. Williams High in Alexandria, Virginia, after fifteen winning seasons, and the school hands it to Herman Boone (Denzel Washington). Boone is blunt and unbending, nothing like the man the town loved, and he now has to merge Black and white players into one team under Boaz Yakin's direction. Yoast stays on as his assistant, and each has to decide whether to keep fighting the other.
