Remi, Nobody's Boy

Rémi (Maleaume Paquin) is ten years old and wants only to stay with the woman who raised him, Madame Barberin (Ludivine Sagnier). Instead he is handed over to Signor Vitalis (Daniel Auteuil), a traveling musician who takes him on foot across France with a dog named Capi and a small monkey, Joli-Coeur. Antoine Blossier follows the road from town to town, where Rémi learns to sing for his bread and finds that people without much of their own will still share it.
